Once a suitable property has been found, we will negotiate the purchase on your behalf, and oversee the conveyancing process through to completion. We can even arrange removals and renovations if required.

Why use a Search Agent?
Unless you have ample time on your hands you may find the property search process daunting, time consuming and frustrating. By instructing KM Jones you are benefiting from extensive experience gained as an Estate Agent. We have an in depth understanding of how the London sales and lettings markets operate, including getting access to 'off market' properties. Our powerful negotiation skills often result in a reduction in the sale price far in excess of our fee.

What are your fees?
Irrespective of the size or type of property you are purchasing, our initial search period is three months and for this we require a non-refundable upfront fee of £300. We then act on your behalf as your search agent and if during this time we introduce a property which is subsequently purchased by our client during or after the initial search period then our fee is 1% of the purchase price. If you are looking to rent a property our fees are 8% of the annual rent. All fees exclude and are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Can I also search for a Property at the same time as using your services? Yes! However we will leave no stone unturned in our quest for the perfect property for you. If one of our clients finds their own property during our initial search period then we are still entitled to a fee of 1% of the purchase price, however they will also benefit from our negotiation and conveyancing assistance.

Can you help with the sale of my property?
If you have a connected sale we can advise on presentation, instruction of an Estate Agent and negotation of the sale. Price on Application dependant on the amount of time spent. See our Consultancy Services.

The majority of our expertise is in finding Flats and Houses in Central London and surrounding areas. In addition KM Jones is ideal for those looking for larger houses and estates in and around Surrey. Search instructions for other areas will be also be considered.
